What do you do in your show?
As Ray's show is ever-evolving, his effects and routines vary depending on the type of venue, size and type of audience, length of show, etc. For a more detailed description of his shows, please contact our office today.

How long is your show?
Ray's typical show is approximately 35 to 40 minutes long. He has 15 to 45 minute programs available to suit every audience, budget, and occasion. Ray's strolling close-up magic performances may have a minimum booking time of 1 to 2 hours.

How much room do you need?
Ray's act is fairly self-contained and requires a performing area of approximately 6' X 6'. If necessary, Ray carries his own portable sound system (which works on AC or DC), complete with lights, microphones, and microphone stands. Depending on the venue and type of show requested, Ray also has a portable backdrop with either silver or dark blue curtains, which can be set up within minutes.

For home parties, Ray simply requires one regular chair at the designated performing area with everyone in front of him. If you are taking pictures, you may not want the show in front of a large window. This could result in poor quality pictures with everyone cast in shadows, due to backlighting issues. If the show is held outdoors in the hot sun, pick a spot where the kids can sit in the shade, perhaps under a tree on a large blanket. This way, the children are less prone to irritability, more comfortable and able to enjoy the show!

What is your fee?
Ray's fee schedule is determined by several factors: length, type, and date of show, complexity of staging, whether a sound system is provided, size and type of audience, venue location, etc. For faster service, please call our office at (604) 439-8809. Otherwise, simply fill out the quote request form and we will contact you by telephone as soon as possible.

Do you take cash or cheques?
Ray accepts cash or cheques. Unless prior arrangements have been made, Ray's fee is to be paid immediately after his final performance. If paying by cheque, please make the cheque payable to "Ray Wong".

For corporate events, if it is more convenient, you may post-date the cheque for the date of the performance and mail it in advance, to our office. Another option is, you may present it to the performer just prior to the show so you don't have to worry about looking for where that cheque went or have the performer looking for you. After the show, you may be too busy with the next agenda on the program. Of course, payment after the final performance is fine; however, please be aware that Ray is often booked back to back with shows, and may need to get to his next engagement right away.
